Fast Electric Vehicle Charger Installed at Hollywood Burbank Airport

BURBANK, Calif., November 13, 2018 – The Burbank Water and Power Department (BWP) has completed the installation of an Efacec Efapower Direct Current (DC) Fast Charger for Electric Vehicles (EV) at the Hollywood Burbank Airport. To access the DC Fast Charger, customers must pull a ticket for the short-term parking structure. The DC Fast Charger is located adjacent to the entrance to the short-term parking structure. Atlanta, Georgia – Welcome, Y’all! Delta Air Lines Announces Nonstop Service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

BURBANK, Calif., November 12, 2018 – Delta Air Lines announced this morning that it will begin twice-daily nonstop service on a Boeing 737-700 between Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) on July 8, 2019.

Solid Growth in Passenger Volume at Hollywood Burbank Airport Continued in September 2018

BURBANK, Calif., November 7, 2018 – Airline passenger traffic at Hollywood Burbank Airport continued the upward trend of passenger increase for the month of September 2018. The September 2018 passenger count of 429,349 is an increase of 8.75 percent over the September 2017 passenger count of 394,786. Year-to-date, January through September 2018 total passenger count of 3,854,492 is an increase of 12.31 percent over January through September 2017 total passenger count of 3,431,884.

Second Mamava Lactation Suite Installed at Hollywood Burbank Airport in Terminal B

BURBANK, Calif., October 10, 2018 – The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority, in partnership with Lamar Alliance Airport Advertising, has installed a second lactation suite for nursing mothers at Hollywood Burbank Airport in Terminal B, across from Gate B4. The unit was delivered by Mamava, a Vermont-based company that produces private, freestanding lactation suites for nursing mothers. The first lactation suite was installed in August in Terminal A and is now located between Gates A4 and A5.
