In recent years, there has been a noticeable southern shift in the flight tracks of aircraft departing the Airport.
Flight tracks are determined by the FAA and not by the Authority.
The Authority participated in a Task Force, with stakeholders from throughout the Valley, that made recommendations to the FAA aimed at ending the southern shift.
The southern shift is not caused by increased flights at the Airport.
